This is a mini presentation on a topic that we need to be reminded about (pun intended)!

Our phone comes with an auto icon that says “Reminders” – a feature to assist us in life.

Are we interested in using it?
Do we simply Ignore this stuff?
How could this possibly benefit us?
WHY is there such a thing invented?
Is there a Demand as this is needed?

Whatever our preference is, the majority of us would benefit greatly from Reminders.

The standard Dictionary Definition for the word REMINDER
A written or spoken message that reminds someone to do something. (1)

So there it is spelling it out for us that a Reminder is simply to make us aware to take action.

Let’s start with the Basic 101’s in daily life.

Reminder to drink Water – Plain and Simple.
Reminder to drink Water throughout the day.

Reminder to not count sugary drinks as hydration.
Reminder that Alcohol1 is not the same as water.
Reminder soda and all things coloured is not water.
Reminder that Coffee and energy drinks are not water.
Reminder that copious amounts of tea is not water.
Reminder that most green teas have Caffeine in them.

Reminder to go to Bed early every day.
Reminder to brush our Teeth twice daily.
Reminder to always Tidy Up before bedtime.
Reminder to switch off devices in the evening.
Reminder to stop falling asleep with binge TV.

Reminder to get work bag ready for next day.
Reminder to organise what is needed for school.
Reminder to make the List of actions for morning.
Reminder to rest deeply as it’s a Day Off/Weekend.

Reminder to stop Swearing and cursing in the home.
Reminder to stop barking at the kids when stressed.
Reminder to stop moaning and doing nothing about it.

Reminder to stop stressing about a work colleague.
Reminder to stop Gossiping and Judging others at work.
Reminder to stop bitching about others at work/home.

Reminder to stop seeking rewards for doing Nothing.
Reminder to do something instead of doing Nothing.
Reminder to stop making Excuses to work from home.
Reminder to actually work the hours that you get paid.

Reminder to get the bags to the goodwill/charity shop.
Reminder to remove the recycling out of the home.
Reminder to put the bins out as it is collection day.
Reminder to close the windows and lock the front door.
Reminder to check in with the elderly neighbour.

Reminder to hang the washing left in the machine.
Reminder to clean the dirty shoes before work.
Reminder to wear sensible shoes as the job is formal.
Reminder to dress appropriately as it is a paid job.

Reminder to prepare the lunch for work in advance.
Reminder to take the food out of the freezer to cook.
Reminder to wash Pots and Pans properly with care.

Reminder to finish the Job that was started last week.
Reminder to get the Odd Jobs around the home done.
Reminder to go to the post office and drop packages.
Reminder to pay the rent on due date and never late.

Reminder to check all bill payments are up to date.
Reminder to renew the subscription as it is needed.
Reminder to use the gym or stop membership now.

Reminder to send the email that has been pushed aside.
Reminder to read Email Housekeeping and take action.
Reminder to pay bill outstanding and learn the lesson.
Reminder to call the bank as its now well overdue.
Reminder to order the item Online and not deviate.

Reminder to make the dental appointment promptly.
Reminder to book GP as Putting It Off is not working.
Reminder to see the Optician as this is very important.
Reminder to get Hearing Test at the local audiologist.

Reminder to stop drinking Alcohol2 as it is a poison.
Reminder Recreational Drugs are not the way to go.
Reminder to not order yet another takeaway again.

Reminder to stop lying even if it is the New Normal.
Reminder to stop seeking recognition from others.
Reminder to stop reacting because of lack of Sleep.
Reminder to stop making promises that are stupid.
Reminder to get a Reality Check and start with Honesty.

Reminder to Question everything when we get Sick.
Reminder to ask WHY we have addictive behaviours.
Reminder that What We Eat does have Consequences.

Reminder to read and apply for a Passport to get Real.
Reminder to KEEP IT SIMPLE no matter what it is.
Reminder to stop the War inside first and foremost.

Reminder to develop a strong Foundation which includes a Winding Down routine every day.

Reminder to have a Waking Up rhythm with rituals in place to support us through the day ahead.

Reminder that the kids need a Consistent routine regardless of it being school Holidays.

Reminder that excess sugar for kids has serious consequences and not just rotten teeth.

Reminder to take an Honest look at our Lifestyle Choices and whether they support our true Well-Being.

Reminder that following a health scare, injury, accident or surgery, we need to adjust and make changes.

Reminder to stop the Demand of wanting more, More, MORE and why it will never fill that void inside.

Reminder to Let go and keep Letting go of anything and everything that is harming us.

Reminder to stick to the shopping list with Supermarket Shopping or general shops.

Reminder to place items gently into the shopping trolley and not complain when there is a long line at the checkout.

Reminder to never go food shopping when you are hungry or tired.

Reminder to stop insisting on having the Perfect Life when the goal post keeps moving to the next thing.

Reminder that there are no Diets out there that work for the long–term and we all know that.

Reminder that being Careless in our private life creates a Careless Society.

Reminder to read the very simple Recipe for Life on this website.

Reminder that we need to reflect on how we are living when we catch that thing called Common Cold.

Reminder that if we are groaning about being Bored with Life – it IS because we lack Purpose.

Reminder that Happiness is not a state we can sustain so let us all stop trying and Lying.

Reminder that we all need to Commit to Life and that includes Cleaning our Toilet regularly.

Reminder that Listening to Other People may give us what we are seeking relief for, but it will not evolve us.

Reminder – Giving up on Life is not an option so pick up the phone, reach out or get on the street and Talk.

Reminder – expressing the Truth, Straight Talk and Saying It as It Is are all needed in this world right now.

Reminder that making Mistakes is a Call for correction, no apology – take Action so it does not happen again.

Reminder that Our Car needs to be taken care of and that includes removing rubbish after every trip.

Reminder that living Life in the Fast Lane comes with dangerous consequences.

Reminder to deal with Dodgy Emails with immediacy and that means respond with no Delay.

Reminder to turn the TV off and stop using it to avoid Relationships or people in general.

Reminder that Consistency works and a great one to start with is going to Bed early consistently.

Reminder to give permission to just STOP and take a deep breath before moving to the next thing.

Reminder to just breathe and Close Our Eyes for a moment during the day to restore us.

Reminder that our “Just Incase Syndrome” does not work and will never ever work.

Reminder to FOCUS on the task in hand and allow No Distractions or useless thoughts to enter.

Reminder NOT to sit around watching movies when it is work day tomorrow and you have Responsibility.

Reminder NOT to chit chat into the night when there has been no preparation for the meeting tomorrow.

Reminder NOT to leave the shirt ironing until last minute for work as it’s not going to happen.

Reminder NOT to ever leave the Laundry and wing it in the week when this is essential 101.

Reminder NOT to agree to something when your body is screaming saying “please don’t do that again”.

Reminder NOT to commit to something you know you will pull out of nearer the time.

Reminder NOT to eat when you are not hungry and you got a big event coming up.

Reminder NOT to buy food and then dial up for a delivery or two or three.

Reminder NOT to Waste food and leave food rotting in the fridge for weeks.

Reminder NOT to get involved in the neighbours and their shenanigans.

Reminder NOT to allow the flat mate to keep bullying you as it’s wearing you down.

Reminder NOT to play Nice and talk Fake and Phony as you just want to be liked.

Reminder NOT to offer someone something whilst knowing it was just to be Nice and polite.

Reminder NOT to buy unwanted gifts for others as you want to be seen as generous.

Reminder NOT to hold back when you know the Truth as this affects others.

Reminder NOT to act and be pathetic when you know exactly what is needed and what to say.

Reminder NOT to waste Weekends or Days Off sleeping and slobbing around. Catch up on Practical tasks.

Reminder NOT to forget that the world is suffering out there so no point adding to it when you know different.

Reminder NOT to put in a false claim because you think you can Get Away With It.

Reminder NOT to use Social Media and jump on the bandwagon with the utter nonsense that is Trending.

Reminder NOT to spend hours we regard as chillax time when its highly addictive like Video Games.

Reminder NOT to participate in purpose–less activities when we know it drains us and brings on Tiredness.

Reminder NOT to leave the home without a scarf and gloves when the weather is Cold.

Reminder NOT to scoff pastries and gulp down Coffee first thing, walking on the way to work.

Reminder NOT to eat double ice creams when the sun is out and then feel yuk as our tummy didn’t like it.

Reminder NOT to convince ourselves and others that eating Fast Food and Junk Foods has nutritional value.

Reminder NOT to fantasise and escape in the mind when Real Action on everyday matters needs attending.

Reminder NOT to forget to check the Car tyre pressure and fuel tank before going on the long journey.

Reminder NOT to lead a Double Life thinking you are Getting Away with It as time will be up soon.

Reminder NOT to put effort or emphasis into Secrets and Vices when we know this is ill behaviours.

Reminder NOT to do Hot Talk as they are just Empty Words with no True Actions and No substance behind.

Reminder NOT to Sit on the Fence wanting and waiting for others to take the first move. It will not work.

Reminder NOT to keep seeking Solutions when they are just Band Aids to a bullet wound.

Reminder NOT to ever be Overdoing It in any area of our life as that is a force and not a natural state.

Reminder NOT to spend a nano second in Regret.
Correction means move on and never do that again.

Reminder NOT to expect that Crazy Days are going to give us a settlement and deep Sleep that night.

Reminder NOT to create Complications when we can choose Simple and accept things to Flow with ease.

Reminder NOT to book the next Holiday while on Holiday or soon as you get back as you got FOMO.

Reminder NOT to ever have any Struggle in any area of life. Start reading the article and stay on this website.

Of course there are plenty more but the above list is a grand start to get us on Track.

To wrap us this super important presentation on REMINDERS, it would be wise to realise that when we are reminded we have the opportunity to take Action.

We can of course Ignore these reminders and stay on the road of Delay and this means we go off Track and things we don’t want in life start to escalate.

Taking Action and responding immediately to our reminders changes our behaviours if we stick to it. Thereafter, we can lock in the 101s so no matter what life presents, we feel equipped, as we have a solid Foundation that is always there every day that holds us.
